Birds Eye View Room Portraits by Menno Aden
Through a camera installed on the ceiling Menno Aden abstracts most familiar actual living environments and indoor public spaces into flattened two-dimensional scale models. These birds-eye-view photographs capture a unique perspective on rooms, compared to the perfectly neat and tidy interior photos we are so used to seeing.

Last year I was lucky enough to see Beck perform twice. It was so brilliant ,he played for almost over 2 hours at the State theater and then a few days later at Harvest festival.The majority of the people I love to draw & paint are people I highly admire and look up to. Beck was my most recent project and I’ve been painting him for over a month now . What he has done musically is remarkable and never ceases to impress and inspire me ,not to mention his most recent “Song reader” and soon to be aired cover of David Bowie’s “Sound and Vision”. Very soon it will be done and I’ll post a photo ,but for now here is what it looks like tonight.
